I haven't really played in a few years. I previously played with a number of local big bands, shows, weddings, clubs, etc. ..Previously studied with Carl Wolf ,Sonny Igoe and a few calssical guys. ...Thought of getting back into it ...this time for fun.

....Just wanted to say thanks for the website and inspiration!

Have a great day!

Russ,
I knew you many years ago when I studied with Sam. We ran into each other at clinics. etc. Happy to hear your doing well . I retired 10 years ago from a very successful teaching area (Rockland County) Made a lot of money. I'm now playing at theaters doing broadway musicals. I've played in 65 musicals during the last 10 years. I e-mailed Sam Ulano to say hello but he never answered me.
Thats about it. Stay well & good luck.

Hey Russ!! I'm one of your old students Rob Citron. I learned alot from you when I was your student. I have been in over 25 bands since then. You always told me to better myself. And to do so I should always play in bands no matter if they're just a bunch of guys getting together or a real group dedicated to 'making it big'. When I was studying under you I had quite a few problems with school and the martial arts I was doing at the time not to mention various other things. In the past year or so I've played with some of the best bands and people I've played with in my whole life. And I've tried and tried to learn as much as I can to be the best I can be in these bands. But I think I can not learn anymore on my own and I really think I wanna come study under you again. I began studying with you when I was 15, and now I'm almost 21. So expect to see me in your studio soon enough. I can't wait to begin learning with you again. Oh and I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked in M! odern Drummer magazine and saw an advertisement for your drum studio. Then I come online and see all of this on here. Remember expect to see me in your waiting room in the next few weeks. Take care for now.

Russ,
I just wanted to say thanks for teaching my the drums. Even though I have only had a few lessons so far, I feel so comfortable with drums. That is definitely because I have the best drum teacher in the world, you. I also wanted to let you know that I love this website! You had asked me to tell you what I thought of it, and I definitely love it.

Because I have you as a teacher, I feel that I will keep with the drums for many years to come. who knows, maybe I will be a famous drummer some day, but for right now, I am still a beginner. I just wanted to thank you for being such a great teacher and for being the coolest teacher ever. I can't wait until my lesson.
